Der Proband muss seinen eigenen Schuh in die Schuhablage des Apparats stellen und den roten Bodenschalter im Zielbereich betätigen.

Als Auslösender der Aktion ist er zunächst Täter, wird dann aber als Zielscheibe auch zum Opfer.

Der Schlitten mit dem Schuh wird immer weiter nach hinten gezogen und somit die Feder zunehmend angespannt. Der Moment des Abwurfs ist nicht vorhersehbar.
